Power plant: HUOSAI – 6J1A is a piston type nine cylinder radial engine with single stage supercharger. The engines lineage was derived from the American Pratt & Whitney type radial engines. Propeller: The aircraft is fitted with a J9-G1 all aluminium propeller and constant speed unit for maximum climb and speed performance. Fuselage: The aircraft's fuselage, wing and stabilizers are of all metal structure, it's ailerons, elevator and rudder are of metal skeleton structure covered by aircraft grade fabric. Landing Gear: It's landing gear is of retractable tricycle type. All operating systems are pneumatically operated for long service life and reliability. Our experienced pilots will fully brief you in all areas of the flight and explain in detail the maneuvers which are available. We consistently pull up to 4 G and offer as much adrenalin and fun as you can handle. Unless you are an experienced flyer your pilot will execute one maneuver at a time and confer with you before continuing on with the other maneuvers. We offer as much, or, as little aerobatics as YOU wish to do. Some of the maneuvers which you are able to experience on our flights includes:Aileron Roll A roll nominally about the longitudinal axis of the aircraft, usually a fairly rapid roll and with a straight flightpath. It is normal to raise the nose before beginning the roll so that there is upward momentum to carry the aircraft through the roll without loss of latitude. Barrel Roll A combination of rolling, pitching and yawing whereby the aircraft follows a helical flight path as if it was flying around the inside of a barrel. Slow Roll A roll around the longitudinal axis while the aircraft follows a nominally straight-and-level flightpath. The roll is deliberately conducted at less than maximum roll rate so that there is a need for deliberate side-slip (knife-edge flight) to maintain altitude with the winds vertical and a need for deliberate negative angle of attack to maintain the inverted level path. Note that a slow roll does not imply low airspeed. Wing-Over A gentle pull-up, roll, climbing turn, descending turn, change of direction, through any number of degrees - used to position the aircraft and to establish the entry parameters for the next manoeuvere. Very useful for lookingout and for gaining the fell of a new aircraft. Not strictly an aerobatic manoeuvre as all aircraft are capable of a wing-over. Chandelle The chandelle is similar to the first part of the wing-over but is completedat the highest point and lowest speed - the apex of the manoeuvre. It is a means of exchanging airspeed for altitude while changing direction in a small radius. It was the derivation of the Immelman which, in it's developed form, is the first half of a loop rather than the first half od a wing-over. Stall Turn (Hammerhead in the US) The stall turn consists of a straight pull-up, a yaw through 180° from vertically upward flight to vertically downward flight and a straight recovery from the vertical dive. LoopsA loop is a manoeuvre entirely in the pitchingplane in which the aircraft rotates through 360° in a nominally circular path.
